PACAP-27 (Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase-Activating Polypeptide-27) is a neuropeptide composed of 27 amino acids, highly conserved across species such as humans, mice, sheep, pigs, and rats. It is derived from the same precursor as PACAP-38 and exhibits similar biological functions by interacting with PAC1, VPAC1, and VPAC2 receptors.
